This policy explains how Tonash Group Pty Ltd (ABN 57 611 062 321), trading as Selects Studio (“Selects”, “we”, “us”), handles personal information collected through this website and the Selects platform, consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. We collect only what we need to run the service:

• Account details: your name, business name, email address, and country.
• Job details: wedding or shoot names, venues, dates, image counts, and the notes you add to a job.
• Files: the Lightroom Smart Preview catalogs you submit and the edited catalogs we deliver. We do not request or store your original RAW files.
• Payment records: amounts, currency, and payment status. Card details are collected and processed by Stripe; they never touch our servers.
• Technical basics: essential cookies for login sessions and remembering your currency. We do not run advertising trackers.

The images and catalogs you submit may contain personal information about your clients (the people photographed, wedding details). We process that information solely on your behalf and on your instructions, to provide the editing service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions to share those images with us.

To provide the service: processing jobs, taking payment, issuing tax invoices, sending transactional email (job updates, deliveries, invoices), and providing support. We do not sell personal information, and we will not send you marketing without your consent.

Only the service providers needed to operate Selects, each receiving only what their function requires:

• Stripe: payment processing
• Supabase: database and authentication
• Wasabi: secure file storage for deliveries
• Resend: transactional email delivery
• Vercel: website and platform hosting
• Google Workspace: our support mailbox

Some of these providers store data outside Australia (including the United States and Asia-Pacific regions). We choose reputable providers with strong security practices, but by using the service you acknowledge this overseas handling. Editors working on your jobs see only the job information needed to complete the work, never your contact details.

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by role (your photographer account, our editors, and our admin each see only what their role requires), and file downloads use time-limited, signed links. No internet service can promise absolute security, but we design for least access.

Account and job records are kept while your account is active and as required for tax and business records. Delivery files are retained for a limited period so you can re-download them, after which they may be deleted from storage. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal information at any time, subject to records we must keep by law.

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it: email hello@selectsstudio.com and we’ll respond promptly. If you believe we have mishandled your information you can complain to us first, and to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) if you’re not satisfied with our response.

We may update this policy as the service evolves; the current version and its date will always be published here.
